The vision behind South Masala
“We wanted every guest to feel the warmth of South India before the first dish even reached the table.”
South Masala began with a simple belief: authentic South Indian food should feel as warm, generous and memorable as the homes it comes from.
In 2020, chef and founder Vishnu Desai transformed that belief into a restaurant built around honest recipes, thoughtful hospitality and the joy of bringing people together.
What started as one kitchen soon grew into a much-loved dining destination. From Odhav to Jamnagar and Dholka, every new South Masala location carries forward the same commitment to flavour, consistency and care.
Today, the journey continues—with more cities, more tables and many more guests becoming part of the South Masala story.
